About the Film: Directed Erich Weiss. USA, 2008, 77 mins. Norman "Sailor Jerry" Collins is arguably the most influential tattoo artist in history-and for most of his career he was based in Honolulu. Combining Asian and Western styles and techniques, he transformed tattooing into a modern art form. Known for his larger-than-life persona, the American legend and left an indelible mark, literally and figuratively, on the industry.
