USASLOSHBALL ROUND 4! Superheroes seem to been a big hit in theaters in the past 10 years, let's celebrate by having a superhero themed sloshball fundraiser.  During round 3 in June, we raised $252 for the Institute of Human Services. Let's TOP THAT with a goal of $300. I will be raffling off yet another one of my cherished possessions for the raffle so come out and DONATE.  Come out to BBQ, drink some brew and of course...play KICKBALL. I will bring all the necessary kickball equipment and the slip n slide with a bit of food and drink to share.  Dress in a favorite superhero costume of your choice. Pick your favorite superhero or make one up. A COSTUME CONTEST WILL BE HELD BEFORE THE RAFFLE DRAWING. WINNER(S) WILL RECEIVE 10 FREE TICKETS.  Please note that this is a POTLUCK, so please bring food/drink to share (not just chips n dip people). And yes, swimwear for the slip n slide. FUNDRAISER- I am donating a yet another one of my possessions to raffle for the fundraising event. PLEASE DONATE ITEMS TO BE RAFFLED OFF if you can, of course. The local charity will be the Institute for Human Services. Raffle tickets will go for $2 for one ticket, $5 for three tickets, and $10 for 7 tickets. Bring something to donate and buy some tix!! :)  Be sure to feed the meters. HPD enforces parking at Kapiolani (I should know, I was ticketed before).  Feel free to invite friends and family. This is what we will need, be sure to write on the wall to tell everyone what you will bring: 1. Kickball equipment 2. Slip n Slide 3. BBQ PIT/Utensils- VERY IMPORTANT WE DID NOT HAVE THIS LAST TIME.... 4. iPod/MP3 music player 5. Plates/Red cups/eating utensils/Paper towels 6. Non-alcoholic beverages(Juice, soda, mixers 7. Hammocks (yes, hammocks are awesome). 8. BBQ games: bocce ball, bucket ball, ladder golf, bean bag toss, frisbees, footballs. Again, be sure to invite friends and family. The more the merrier.
