Description
It's a celebration of Mayumi Oda's remarkable life and artwork at Robyn Buntin of Honolulu and the Honolulu Museum of Art!  We hope you'll join us for a once-in-a-lifetime presentation combining two exhibitions. The hand-printed serigraphs on Japanese mulberry paper have been what Mayumi has been best known for since 1967 and they will be on display at Robyn Buntin of Honolulu. The HMA opens their exhibition, "A Prayer for the New Birth of Japan" in the Japanese and Buddhist Galleries on the same day.  It will feature Mayumi's original paintings created this past year in Nara, Japan with a focus on preserving traditional Japanese yamato-e style painting traditions.   See more about the exhibition, the catalog raisonne and her artwork at:  http://www.robynbuntin.com/oda
