Celebrate Arbor Day!

Select your favorite tree or shrub from a variety of popular fruit trees, flowering shrubs, and native plants at the Hawaiian Electric Arbor Day Tree Giveaway, on Saturday morning, November 2.

Hawaiian Electric is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its tree giveaways by sponsoring 20 koa trees to be planted by the Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative on Hawai'i Island. At the giveaway you can enter to win a legacy tree that will be planted in your name.

Certified arborists and volunteers from Hawaiian Electric, Kaulunani Urban and Community Forestry Program, U.H. Urban Garden Center, Wahiawa Botanical Garden, and Waimea Valley will help you select the right tree and will give you advice on planting and caring for it.

Get your free tree or shrub-one per family, while supplies last-at the locations and times shown below. Be sure to arrive early!
