On The Spot presents the latest in their catalog of improvisational formats with "True Wes." Inspired by the films of writer, director, and producer Wes Anderson, "True Wes" is an improvised homage to this auteur film maker. Done in the vein of some of Anderson's memorable movies like the Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and Rushmore, On the Spot's improvised show stays true to Anderson unique style. Using quirky characters, witty dialog, and a stunning visual approach to storytelling On the Spot's newest improvised format "True Wes" captures all the things we love from the Wes Anderson universe.

"True Wes" plays Saturday, February 5, at 8:00pm at The ARTS at Marks Garage. Tickets are $15 general and $10 for students w/ ID and are available at the door one hour before show time. The ARTS at Marks Garage is located at 1159 Nu'uanu Ave. on the corner of Nu'uanu and Pauahi in downtown Honolulu, one block south of Beretania.
