Furniture Design at UH: an Exhibition of Furniture Designed by Students in the School of Architecture (University of Hawaii, Manoa School of Architecture)
Currently on view at the University of Hawai‘i School of Architecture is an exhibit entitled, 'Furniture Design at UH: an Exhibition of Furniture Designed by Students in the School of Architecture.' The exhibit features 39 pieces created by students over the past five years and includes stools, benches, tables, chairs and lighting fixtures. All of the works are original designs conceived and fabricated by the students in the school's Fabrication Workshop. The exhibition runs now to November 2nd in the Haigo and Irene Shen Architecture Gallery (room 204) in the School of Architecture building on the UH Mänoa campus. The gallery is open weekdays from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, closed weekends and holidays. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
