Presented by:
The American Indian Powwow Association

Each year, the American Indian Powwow Association (AIPA) takes sole responsibility as the sponsor of the Annual Honolulu Intertribal Powwow. Since its inception in July of 1995, AIPA has worked to promote and celebrate the Native American culture and traditions in an environment that is family oriented, as well as, drug and alcohol free.

This year, we will be celebrating the 34th Annual Intertribal Powwow on October 4 and 5, 2008 at Thomas Square in Honolulu on the island of O'ahu. The powwow is host to Native American drummers, singers, and dancers from across the country including those that reside in Hawai'i, many of whom are in the islands through the military or work. It has also served as a way to unite those so far from home with other Native Americans, and throughout the years many life long friendships have resulted from this event.
